Adding RSS Feeds To A Homestead Website
This video is all about adding rss feeds to homestead websites. It is a simple process once you understand the correct steps to success. The only difficulty that I had was discovering or finding rss feed URLs. After I did several searches for the nitch term , Lasik Eye, I finally discovered a feed. If you follow the link you will see it at the bottom of the page. This can be a very valuable addition to your site. It can also be a hindrance because if the feed has active links inside, the risks are great for your visitors to be taken off of you website.
On my websites where I am generally focused upon making money, having an rss feed is a concern that I pay serious attention to because of the possibility of loosing targeted traffic. If there was a way to set the links inside of the feed to open in a different window, then I would be fine with having the special feature added to my Homesteads websites pages. I don't really know if this can be accomplished. The thought of others content attracting visitors is a plus but I don't think a tremendous amount of traffic would be generated due to having the feature added to a web sit page. The reason being is that it is content that is being duplicated and search engines really don't like that too much.
